Pertussis vaccination
A new California school immunization law requires all students entering 7th through 12th grades in the 2011-2012 school year be immunized with a pertussis vaccine booster called Tdap.

Within the regional systems, outpatient services are provided at multiple clinics, many of them located on school sites. They are staffed by professionals in the fields of psychiatry, psychology, social work, family therapy and nursing.

Refugee Health Services

HCA Refugee Health Services Program provides health screening for newly arriving refugees to Orange County, asylees, parolees and victims of trafficking. New arrivals are screened for tuberculosis, hepatitis, parasitic infections and other health conditions, and referred to appropriate care.
