7. Will I be required to take a test? What
happens if I do not pass the test?
Practical and written tests are required for certification. If you are
not interested in "certification", you do not have to participate in the
written tests. If you do not pass the test(s) we will recommend you take a
full CPR class.

8. How old does one have to be to go through the
training?
Although there is not age requirement, the material and terminology is
presented at a about an 8th grade level.
If you have younger children, ask
yourself these questions:
-
Can my child sit still and absorb the information being
presented?
-
Does my child have an interest in the subject matter?
-
Will the information "overwhelm" my child?
-
Can my child do the physical skills required in CPR?
-
Will my child be able to take the written exam and
understand the terminology?
We want your child (or anyone) taking the class for the first time to have a
good experience learning CPR. If it is not a good experience, they may shy
away from learning these skills in the future. Please use your discernment
as this format is extremely streamlined and doe not allot a lot of time for
mediation.
