The Orange County Chapter,
American Red Cross will host its annual Disaster Preparedness Academy at the
Anaheim Convention Center.
The goal of the program is to provide information to the
community regarding emergency preparedness planning, mitigation, response
skills and recovery operations. Discussions will focus on lessons learned
and there will be opportunities for hands-on training. The Keynote Speakers
include Orange County Sheriff Mike Corona and Mike Goth from American Red
Cross.
The conference is open to all of those who are interested
in disaster preparedness.
On-line registration is now available in addition to mail
in and phone in registration. For those who register by April 19th they will
receive the best rate.
