The Alameda County Senior Injury Prevention Partnership
in partnership with the California Department of Health Services, Center
for Injury Prevention Policy and Practice and UCI Center for Trauma and
Injury Prevention Research are proud to host the 6th Annual Senior Injury
Prevention Conference.
The purpose of the Conference is to examine the scope of
injuries in today's older adult population as well as what the future
could look like without effective intervention. In addition to speakers
covering a host of injury prevention topics, attendees will have an
opportunity to examine assessment tools, interactive CDs, videos and
various other innovative injury prevention equipment and materials.
The Conference is ideal for Senior Service Providers,
Health Care Providers, Senior Program Managers, Pre-hospital Personnel,
Pharmacists, Social Workers, Community Outreach Workers, Residential Care
Facility Managers, Fitness Professionals.
The cost for the conference is $65.00 and the Conference
is approved for 6 hours of pre-hospital continuing education.
