Pertussis vaccination A new California school immunization law requires all students entering 7th through 12th grades in the 2011-2012 school year be immunized with a pertussis vaccine booster called Tdap.
Certified copies of birth certificates within 60 days after a birth occurring in Orange County may be purchased in person at the Birth and Death Registration office.

Outpatient services are provided at multiple clinics, many located on school sites. Staffed by professionals in the fields of psychiatry, psychology, social work, family therapy and nursing.
Public health nurses provide nursing services in the home and community, including case management, client advocacy, community resource information and assistance with accessing health care. Services are provided to all residents of Orange County who meet the criteria regardless of financial status. Nurses in the Public Health Nursing Division provide services in a variety of programs that target specific populations and/or health needs.
Nutrition Services is responsible for implementing and supporting nutrition programs and activities to improve the nutritional status of the general community and several priority subgroups.
