Orange County Immunization
Coalition
"Our goal is to
positively impact the health status of the Orange County
community through childhood immunization." OCIC is committed to
making a positive difference in the health of Orange County's
children by promoting routine childhood immunizations
countywide, through the active collaboration and support of
concerned, creative community leaders.

appropriate age.

Our Focus
The priority of the
Coalition is to achieve full immunization for children from
birth to two years old.
Established
The OCIC was established
in September 1994 by concerned groups and individuals with the
common goal of increasing the immunization level-- and thereby
the health--of our children and community.
What we do
We achieve our goal by
coordinating community-wide outreach and education strategies;
implementing pilot projects; developing community health
partnerships and leadership; promoting the "Standards of
Immunization Practice" within the medical community; supporting
the development of a regional Immunization Registry; and
advocating for the health interests of the children of Orange
County.
