Coalition
"Our goal is to
positively impact the health status lifespan of the Orange County
community through immunization." OCIC is committed to
making a positive difference in the health of Orange County's
residents by promoting routine recommended immunizations
countywide, through the active collaboration and support of
concerned, creative community leaders.

County residents will receive their recommended immunizations at the
appropriate age.

community by achieving and maintaining full immunization
protection.
Our Focus
To increase childhood and
adult immunization rates and prevent vaccine-preventable
disease.
Established
The OCIC was established
in September 1994 by concerned groups and individuals with the
common goal of increasing the immunization level-- and thereby
the health--of our community.
What we do
We achieve our goal by
coordinating community-wide outreach and education strategies;
implementing pilot projects; developing community health
partnerships and leadership; promoting the "Standards of
Immunization Practice" within the medical community; supporting
the development of a regional Immunization Registry; and
advocating for the health interests of the residents of Orange
County.
