Required Training

The OCMRC adheres to the practices set forth by HCA’s Volunteer Services.

All Volunteers must complete the required trainings:

  1. FEMA Emergency Management Institute Independent Study Program (ISP) http://training.fema.gov/is/ IS 100.b  Introduction to Incident Command System (ICS) IS 700.a  Introduction to National Incident Management System (NIMS)
  2. Complete the “New Employee” Compliance Training. Click Here
  3. Read and sign that you understand and acknowledge the “Code of Conduct”.

  4. Upload all certificates and COC signature form into your DHV “Training” section.
  5. Upload any additional trainings or certifications (ie. CPR/AED, CERT, FEMA, etc.)
  6. Contact OCMRC staff for additional information

All volunteers must complete the above training requirements and upload their certificates to their training profiles before acceptance into the OCMRC. In addition, volunteers must undergo sanction screenings, license verification (s) and reference checks.

Note:  Requirement for all volunteers – individual cannot be on the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the Inspector General’s, or List of Excluded Individuals/Entities (LEIE).
