(Santa Ana) - Additional deliveries of influenza vaccine will allow the Orange County Health Care Agency (HCA) to resume flu shot clinics at sites in Santa Ana, Buena Park, Costa Mesa and San Juan Capistrano beginning the week of Monday, November 27.

Health Officer Dr. Mark Horton said, "Vaccine has arrived in sufficient supply to allow us to resume offering flu shots at all four HCA sites and it has arrived before the peak of the influenza season. Over 15,000 people have received flu shots at HCA sponsored events in the past week and we will continue to offer flu shots while the vaccine supply lasts."

The four HCA Immunization Clinic sites and the hours flu shots are offered are:

• 1725 West 17^th Street, Santa Ana

Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-4 p.m., open until 7 p.m. on Tuesday

• 7342 Orangethorpe Avenue, Buena Park

Tuesday 1 p.m.-4 p.m., Thursday 8 a.m.-7 p.m.

• 2845 Mesa Verde Drive East, Costa Mesa

Wednesday 11 a.m.-7 p.m.

• 27512 Calle Arroyo, San Juan Capistrano

Thursday 11 a.m.-7 p.m.

Flu shots will be offered while supplies last to those at least 60 years of age and to those at increased risk of influenza-related complications due to chronic diseases, pregnancy or other medical conditions.
