(Cerritos) - An Orange County Health Care Agency pharmacist will help older adults maximize the effectiveness of their medications through a free community education program Wednesday, December 13 at the Cerritos Senior Center, 12340 South Street.

The program, entitled "Making the Best Use of Your Medications," is scheduled for 11-11:45 a.m. with registered pharmacist Dan Ketchum serving as guest speaker. The program will provide information on how medicines work, potential side effects and tips on taking medicines to increase their effectiveness. Ketchum will also discuss over-the-counter medications, vitamins and herbal products. The program will conclude with a question and answer session.
