(Santa Ana) - The Orange County Health Care Agency announced it has completed it's search for a Manager of Veterinary Services with the hiring of veterinarian Dr. Kristi Fisher. "We are extremely pleased with the outstanding caliber of our new management team at Animal Care Services with the addition of Dr. Kristi Fisher," said Mike Spurgeon, Deputy Agency Director of Regulatory Health Services. Spurgeon also noted, "Along with Dr. Julie Ann Ryan Johnson, newly appointed Director of Animal Care Services, Dr. Fisher will certainly add to the expertise of our veterinary services for all of our animals." Dr. Fisher is currently a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Southern California Veterinary Medical Association and the American Association of Feline Practitioners. She previously worked for the Cat Care Clinic in Orange along with working for Animal Care Services as a consultant on feline care from August - December 2000. Dr. Fisher earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1997 from the University of California, Davis. She and her husband reside in Rancho Santa Margarita with their two dogs and six cats. # # #
