(Laguna Hills) - Orange County senior citizens will have an opportunity to consult with a pharmacist and a nurse about their current medications at a "Brown Bag Day" event Monday, February 5 at the Florence Sylvester Senior Center, 23721 Moulton Parkway, Laguna Hills.

The free 30-minute consultations will be offered by appointment between 9 a.m. and 12 Noon on February 5. To schedule an appointment, please call the Florence Sylvester Senior Center at (949) 380-0155. Participants should bring all of their prescription medications, over the counter drugs, herbal products and vitamins. A pharmacist and nurse will answer questions about possible side effects as well as the best way to take medications to maximize their effectiveness. Participants will also be asked to fill out a brief medical history form before their consultation.
