Vitamins: How Much is Enough For Older Adults?

(Corona Del Mar) - The ABC's of vitamins will be reviewed during a free community education program scheduled for Wednesday, March 28 from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Oasis Multipurpose Senior Center, 800 Marguerite Ave., Corona Del Mar.

"Vitamins and the Older Adult" will cover vitamin use and misuse as well as potential side effects. Pharmacist Daniel Ketchum, RPh., of Orange County Health Care Agency Older Adult Services, will also detail the recommended daily allowances of vitamins for the older adult and will answer questions during the one-hour program.

The free program is sponsored by the Oasis Multipurpose Senior Center, County of Orange Health Care Agency Older Adult Services and Preventive Health Care for the Aging (PHCA). For more information, please call the center at (949) 644-3244.
