Finding A Safe Solution To Sleep Problems In Older Adults (Corona Del Mar) - A free community education program focusing on sleep problems faced by older adults will be offered Wednesday, April 25 from 11 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Oasis Multipurpose Senior Center, 800 Marguerite Ave., Corona Del Mar. Seniors experiencing sleep problems may turn to prescription medications, over the counter drugs or herbal products in their effort to find relief. Guest speaker Daniel Ketchum, RPh., a pharmacist with Orange County Health Care Agency Older Adult Services, will provide facts about sleep patterns in the older adult, the risks and proper use of medications, and non-medication alternatives that may offer relief. "Sleep Problems-Issues for Older Adults" is sponsored by the Oasis Multipurpose Senior Center, County of Orange Health Care Agency Older Adult Services and Preventive Health Care for the Aging (PHCA).
