Health Fair services will include blood pressure and blood glucose (blood sugar) screenings, bone density screening and height and weight evaluation. Of special interest to women will be free mammograms and breast exams for the first 20 participants. Health information will be provided by two Vietnamese-speaking physicians, who specialize in gastroenterology and internal medicine. There will also be opportunities to consult with a pharmacist and a nutritionist, in addition to health information provided by the Alzheimer’s Association, Acacia Adult Day Care Center and Orange County Adult Protective Services.

The Health Fair is sponsored by the County of Orange Health Care Agency Older Adult Services and Senior Health Outreach Prevention Program, in cooperation with the County Islands Program.
