Public Hearing Rescheduled

(Santa Ana)  A State-mandated public hearing by the Orange County Board of Supervisors, called a “Beilenson Hearing” after the legislator who wrote the law, has been rescheduled from the previously announced date of Tuesday, April 29, 2003.   The new public hearing date is Tuesday, June 10, at 1:30 p.m., the Robert E. Thomas Hall of Administration Building, 10 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Ana, California. 

At this hearing, members of the community will be given the opportunity to comment on the potential reductions of approximately $12.1 million to health care services provided to indigent or low-income persons.
