Community Meeting Addresses Alcohol and Drug
Issues
(Santa Ana) – To hear public concerns and suggestions
for alcohol and drug treatment or prevention services in Orange County, the
public is invited to attend a community meeting scheduled to take place on
Wednesday, May 18 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Hall of Administration,
Board of Supervisors Hearing Room located at 10 Civic Center Plaza in Santa
Ana.
This event is sponsored by the Orange County Alcohol & Drug
Advisory Board. The meeting will provide an open forum for consumers, family
members, providers and interested community members to voice their thoughts,
concerns and/or pose questions about alcohol and drug services in the
County.
“We hope that consumers, family members and others
interested in alcohol and drug abuse services will take this opportunity to
share their ideas and concerns with us, “ said Mark Refowitz, Health Care
Agency Deputy Director for Behavioral Health Services. “This community
meeting will help us identify opportunities to better serve the people of
Orange County.”
The event is open at no cost to all community members
interested in providing comments and suggestions regarding alcohol and drug
