Cardiovascular Receiving Centers
(Orange) – St. Joseph Hospital in the City of Orange is the
11th hospital to join the new system of cardiovascular receiving centers in
Orange County, according to Orange County Emergency Medical Services.
Effective May 17, 2005, St. Joseph’s will receive patients suffering heart
attacks identified by electrocardiograms (EKGs) done in the field by
paramedics.

County Emergency Medical Services.
St. Joseph joins a network of new cardiovascular receiving
centers countywide to speed advanced treatments such as angioplasty to heart

Presbyterian, Irvine Regional Hospital, Los Alamitos Medical Center, Mission
