Public Health nurses provide home visitation and intensive
intervention serving pregnant women with histories of substance
abuse and/or HIV infection and their families throughout the
pregnancy and up to 6-12 months after delivery. Program goals are
to ensure appropriate perinatal care, optimize the health of
newborns, and to support recovery and stable living environments.
