What is Public Health Week?
National Public Health Week is sponsored by the American Public Health Association. The theme for 2008 is
“Climate Change: Our Health in the Balance,”
which will be celebrated April 7-13, 2008.
This year’s activities includes a Public Health Week Kick-off event and award presentation ceremony, Public Health Week Display in the Hall of Administration, the Gerald A. Wagner Excellence in Health Education Award, Test-Your-Knowledge quiz, and the availability of the “Faces of Public Health” video to name a few.
