Effecting change in the environment is an essential part of a comprehensive approach to the prevention of alcohol and other drug-related problems, and a proven strategy for helping youth and adults make healthy choices. To achieve this outcome, we promote responsible actions by government, communities, and the alcohol industry.
Our commitment to building on past successes and enhancing current and future efforts will provide all families in Orange County with access to quality, appropriate and relevant cancer education, screening, and care thereby providing families with the tools to make healthy lifestyle choices.
The CDIP program awards bicycle helmets to selected organizations that, in turn, offer them at no cost to low-income families. Each year, ten organizations in Orange County will be selected as "mini-grant" recipients.
TUPP collaborates with community agencies, youth, service and health organizations, city officials and schools throughout Orange County to offer a variety of tobacco education, cessation and policy programs.
Walk to School is a fun, educational event involving children, parents, and community leaders. Consider becoming a coordinator for your school. Principals, teachers, parents...anyone can become a coordinator.
