Cessation Services
Nhan Hoa Clinic (NHC)
Nhan Hoa Clinic is a non-profit organization located in the city of
Garden Grove. We were founded in 1992 by a group of Vietnamese
professionals responding to the needs of the underserved Vietnamese
population. “Nhân Hòa”, which means "harmony among the people,"
provides patients with many diverse services through the efforts of
our staff and volunteers. Our mission is to provide cost-effective,
family-based health services to people who may not otherwise have
access due to financial, language, cultural, lifestyle, or
psychological barriers, regardless of their ability to pay. Currently,
the clinic is funded by state, county and private foundations to
provide health care services to indigents living in Orange County,
California.
Nhan Hoa Clinic Tobacco Free Communities is part of a comprehensive
program made possible by the Orange County Health Care Agency through
collaborative efforts with the Tobacco Use Prevention Program (TUPP)
and various community based organizations. Nhan Hoa’s goal is to
increase positive health outcomes and decrease the prevalence of adult
and youth tobacco use in the West/Central Region of Orange County by
offering the following free services in the community:
-
5-day cessation classes
-
1-½ hour seminars
-
Individual counseling
-
Telephone counseling
-
Support groups
All services are in English, Vietnamese, Spanish, and Korean.
