On Track

On Track’s vision is to create a safer and more compassionate society by providing hope, creating opportunities, and promoting non-violence and respect for people of all cultures.

The mission of Orange County On Track is:

• To provide a support system for disadvantaged families and to create a safety net for their children in order to promote academic success and to protect them from drug use and gang involvement.

• To provide leadership training to high school students and adults who want to excel as mentors and community volunteers.

On Track achieves its mission in 7 unique ways:

1.  Alcohol, Tobacco and Drug Prevention Programs

   1. Tobacco-Free Communities—On Track was successful in implementing this project in the City of Santa Ana for four consecutive years and it is currently implementing TFC in the City of Orange.

   2. Drug-Free Communities---On Track is currently implementing the DFC project in the City of Santa Ana.

2. The Kids On Track…through Mentoring Program

3. The On Track Youth Leadership Development Program

4. Adult Mentoring for Children of Prisoners

5. Science-based Evaluations and a Public Health Model Approach

6. Parent Education Classes and Health Seminars

7. Community Service Projects
