Emergency Rental Assistance Program

The County of Orange closed the application period for the Emergency Rental Assistance (ERA) Program on April 30, 2021. If you have already submitted an application for the ERA Program, a regional provider will follow up with you directly and provide guidance on the next steps.  If you are in need of assistance and connection to community resources, please contact 2-1-1.

To continue to mitigate the financial hardships and impacts of COVID-19 on the renter households in Orange County, the County of Orange in partnership with Pathways of Hope, Volunteers of America, Family Assistance Ministries, and Orange County United Way, is allocating approximately $65.5 million for the ERA Program.

If you are still in need of rental assistance, please visit the California COVID-19 Rent Relief Program.
