Who We Are

The Orange County Nutrition and Physical Activity Collaborative (NuPAC) is a countywide community collaborative providing leadership and coordination in the areas of nutrition and physical activity. Over 200 members are part of the collaborative. Membership is open to all who have a professional or personal interest in promoting healthy eating and active lifestyles.

Our Vision

All people and communities in Orange County engage in healthy eating and physical activity while celebrating healthy lifestyles.

Our Mission

To lead coordinated efforts and maximize resources to decrease obesity and improve healthy eating and physical activity among Orange County families and communities.

Our Goals

  1. NuPAC serves as the primary group in OC to link, educate and mentor partners regarding nutrition education, physical activity promotion and obesity prevention.
  2. Promote efforts and local achievements of the collaborative and its members to the broader community.

In addition to NuPAC's role of providing a forum for the exchange of information among public and private providers in Orange County, it specifically supports two areas of activity: the development and implementation of the Orange County Obesity Prevention Plan and support of the nutrition education initiatives.

  2. Employers
  3. Health Care Insurers & Providers
  4. Families
  5. Community Organizations
  6. Schools
  7. Child Care
  8. Food and Beverage Industry
  9. Entertainment and Sports
