Red Ribbon Week & Youth Development Resources

Find great information and resources to help plan your Red Ribbon Week event from the National Family Partnership, the national leader in drug prevention education and advocacy.
Search Institute, a nonprofit organization that studies and works to help young people be and become their best selves, offers free tools and resources for youth development.
Family Day works with organizations to educate parents about how everyday activities, like sharing a meal or playing a game, can make a difference in the life of a child. These activities create strong, healthy relationships that can prevent future drug use. Find more information and parent resources on the Family Day website.
Get tips and tools to help you improve your family dinners and meet your dinnertime goals from the Family Dinner Project, a non-profit that encourages family meals. Regular family meals are linked to higher grade-point averages, resilience and self-esteem in children.  Also, family meals are linked to lower rates of substance abuse, teen pregnancy, eating disorders, and depression.
Partnership for Drug-Free Kids is committed to helping families struggling with their son’s or daughter’s substance use. Find information, support, and guidance to get the help your loved one needs and deserves.
