  • Tuberculin skin testing
  • Chest radiograph
  • Sputum collection for acid-fast smear, culture and sensitivities
  • Serum drug levels

  • Coordinating medical follow-up
  • Addressing public health issues
  • Patient tracking and surveillance
  • TB treatment by directly observed therapy (required for all Orange County TB cases and suspects)
