WHO WE ARE: Health Care Program for Children in Foster Care is a collaboration with Orange County Social Services Agency Children and Family Services to ensure that the healthcare needs of children in foster care are met. Public health nurses consult and work collaboratively with both social workers and foster parents.
WHAT WE DO: Public health nurses support foster youth and provide home visitation, coordination of care for medical, dental, and behavioral health needs, as well as referrals and linkages to community resources.
