WHO WE ARE: Child Abuse Registry and Emergency Response is a collaboration with Orange County Social Services Agency Children and Family Services to support Senior Social Workers with child abuse and neglect investigations.  

WHAT WE DO: Public Health Nurses provide nursing consultations, medical record reviews, and field responses to assess the health and developmental condition of children who have been reported for suspected child abuse and neglect.  

Public Health Nurses provide health education, resources, and short-term follow-up to families.
