What services are offered at the Immunization Clinic?

We offer free vaccines (shots) for babies and children ages 2 months to 18 years old with no health insurance. For adults with no health insurance, we also offer limited vaccines. Please call (800) 914-4887 for more information.

What do I need to know before my visit?

• All patients under 18 years old must have a parent or guardian with them. 
•   Please bring a record of past immunizations (or the yellow immunization card) with you. 
•   We do not offer skin testing for TB (Tuberculosis) in the Immunization Clinic. 
•   Call (800) 914-4887 to schedule an appointment. 

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I request immunization (shot) records from the Health Care Agency?

We will give you the immunization card (yellow card) at the end of your visit. The card will show all the vaccines (shots) that you were given during the visit. If your yellow card is lost or you need another copy and you received your vaccines (shots) from our Immunization Clinic at the Orange County Health Care Agency, you can:

1. Get the Card in Person: Go to the Immunization Clinic and request an additional copy. You can fill out an authorization form at the clinic and the clinic will give another copy to you at that time.
2. Get the Card by Mail or Fax: Download and fill out the authorization form "Authorization to Use and Disclose Protected Health Information". Once the form is completed and signed, please return the form to our office by mail or fax. There is no fee for this request. It usually takes between 7-10 days for you to receive the information by mail.

Where can I get skin testing for TB (Tuberculosis)?

Skintesting for TB (Tuberculosis) is not offered in the Immunization Clinic. There are low-cost clinics in Orange County that can perform TB skin testing for a fee. For more information on where you can get a TB skin test visit theTB Treatment and Services webpage.

Can I get my TB (Tuberculosis) skin test on the same day as live virus vaccines (shots)?

Live virus vaccines (shots) include MMR, Varicella (Chicken Pox), Yellow Fever, and Zoster (Shingles). To get your TB skin test and live virus vaccines (shots) on the same day, you must get your TB skin test first. If you get your live virus vaccines first, you must wait 30 days before getting a TB skin test.
