Alcohol Drug Education Prevention Team (ADEPT)

Who Are We?

ADEPT consists of health educators and contracted community- and school- based agencies to support healthy communities by implementing prevention services aimed at reducing alcohol and other drug use in Orange County.

Where can I take my unused, unwanted or expired medication? Find out where you can safely dispose of unwanted, unused, or expired medications. If there is not a drop box close by, learn how to Monitor, Secure, or Destroy your medications at home. The National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day takes place in April and October and is coordinated by the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). To learn more, call the DEA at l (800) 882-9539.
