CD HEALTH ALERT: Guidance on Quarantine for Health Care Personnel (HCP) Exposed to SARS-CoV-2 and Return to Work for HCP with COVID-19

On December 30, 2021, the California Department of Public Health issued AFL 21-08.6, which provides general acute care hospitals, acute psychiatric hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities with updated guidance on COVID-19 isolation and quarantine for healthcare personnel. OCHCA recommends that county healthcare facilities become familiar with and adhere to AFL 21-08.6.
